In the Stars for October

Planetary Energy for October
As the Sun, Venus, and Mars move through Libra we will continue to experience the motivation to act with balance and harmony. Perhaps for some more attuned to the forces of justice will see this more clearly than others as the world drama turns and turns.

Mid-month we have Mercury planet of communications and negotiations aligns with Venus who rules relationships and values will transit through mysterious Scorpio, this will shift the energy from outgoing to a more internal intuitive focus, especially for Scorpio Sun signs, this may involve most in an introspective search for truth and justice this month.

Jupiter planet of optimism and expansion, in its own fire sign Sagittarius continues its forward trek bringing in new ideas and faith for our growth and knowledge. It forms a good trine aspect to the fire Sun signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius who benefit this year with perhaps more confidence to explore their mind, ideas, and travel for new opportunities.

Saturn planet of karma, restrictions, and limitations continues its trek through the serious earth sign Capricorn bringing those needed changes to systems of order, like governments, and businesses which will get a boost if you are intent on re-organizing your affairs. The forces of change, disruptions and transformation are powerful this month as Pluto is moving through the last degrees of Capricorn and is turning direct motion on Oct. 3^rd. Plus Saturn/Pluto are opposed by the transiting North Node in the water sign Cancer. Perhaps for the U.S.A. this aspect is causing confusion around the issues affecting homeland security and foreign powers and investors. Safety may be an issue for some as security systems are not all that clear. The North Node sets up dubious interactions and negotiations with karmic ramifications with our alliances.  A powerful way to start the month with most planets moving in Libra and forming a square pattern to the planets Saturn and Pluto big game changers in Capricorn. So heads up to all cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn this is a wake -up call this first week of October. Some may just experience this as a new beginning in consciousness this month.

Uranus, the planet of change and sudden disruptive energies continues its trek retrograde in the practical materialistic earth sign Taurus. This placement may affect those with planets in Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius perhaps more so coming in January 2020 when Uranus turns direct motion and things come up to the surface.

Neptune in the water sign Pisces continues to incline us towards the mystical, ineffable more transient energies that surround us some refer to dimensions. It’s a good placement to help one develop their intuition, psychic and imagination. It may help the water signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces to delve into the more inspirational side of life.

The first week charges in with the New Moon energy which started Sept. 28^th in the air sign Libra, justice and balance is the keyword for this month. We want to move forward with the feeling of harmony, socializing in positive ways with our friends and business connections, a good time to network. Pluto goes direct Oct. 3^rd and Mercury shifts into the mysterious intense sign Scorpio. This is a good time for research and work that demands concentration.

The First Quarter Moon occurs Oct. 5^th in the ambitious earth sign Capricorn. Mars also moves into Libra shifting the energy from the focus on details( Virgo) towards the more congenial and teamwork (Libra) orientated engagements.  Moon in Capricorn and Mars in Libra combine to create action-orientated decisions around work strategies.

The Full Moon in Aries on Oct.13^th sets up the tension in the air as it squares Saturn in Capricorn and Pluto this may be a day for revelations and tough decisions. Full moon energy is great for balancing the pros and cons of things as the Sun in Libra its opposite demands harmony and balance.

The Last Quarter Moon occurs Oct. 21rst in the water sign Cancer bringing in a moody emotional time to reassess the month’s projects and activities and decide which you may want to keep. The transiting Sun enters into the mysterious and intense water sign Scorpio shifting the energy from an external to a more internal focus. The Orionids meteor showers are visible in the night sky displaying a mysterious and wondrous time in the heavens.
