Spiritual Readings and Reiki Energy Clearing

Summer is halfway through, and this season has already been intense: hot, wet in many regions, and full of movement in the natural world. With the Sun in Leo at the height of its astrological power, solar activity continues to draw attention, while earthquakes and volcanic activity remind us that Earth is also releasing pressure and tension. Together, these patterns invite humanity to pay closer attention to the changing dynamics of our solar system, including the continued orbit of 3I Atlas around Saturn’s moons. We have yet to learn from science what this means and how it may affect Earth.

Eclipses, Nodes, and Collective Direction

This is a significant month for Leo Sun signs, beginning with the Solar Eclipse and New Moon at 20 degrees Leo on August 12. This energy heightens awareness around creativity, joy, and authentic self-expression.
The Lunar Eclipse at 4 degrees Pisces on August 27 heightens compassion, sensitivity, and emotional awareness in response to the world’s larger challenges. Chiron in practical Taurus supports healing around the physical world, the body, and personal values, while the North Node’s movement into Aquarius points toward collective action, progressive change, and a new direction for Leo and Aquarius Sun signs this year.

Mercury, Venus, and Mars

Mercury, the planet of communication and understanding how things fit together, is now direct and moving through the final degrees of Cancer. This transit most strongly affects Cancer and Capricorn Sun signs, bringing attention to feelings around security, safety, and stability in a changing world. On August 10, Mercury shifts into Leo, helping communication and networking move forward. By August 26, Mercury enters its own sign of Virgo and joins the Sun in Virgo, creating a practical time to evaluate details, assess progress, and review plans and projects developed during the summer season.
Venus in Virgo adds precision and discernment, especially in relationships. As Venus shifts into Libra, it supports balance, fairness, justice, and harmony in our judgments and connections. Mars, the planet of action, strategy, and conflict, moves through witty Gemini and joins Ceres, the asteroid associated with healing and care for others. This transit may support more thoughtful decisions for Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius Sun signs.
As Mars shifts into Cancer, national and international relationships may come into stronger focus, especially because the United States has a Cancer Sun. Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces Sun signs may feel this dynamic energy most strongly around mid-month.

Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune

Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth, continues through Leo, bringing confidence and generosity to Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius Sun signs. Religion and belief systems may also receive a boost, though it is important not to impose personal beliefs on others, since each person is moving through their own field of awareness.
Saturn, associated with karma, time, discipline, and patience, continues retrograde through Aries until mid-December. This transit supports Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius Sun signs in finding the structure needed to improve, implement, and consolidate plans, projects, passions, and ideas. Neptune in Aries continues to illuminate emerging forms of spirituality, and its sextile to Pluto may help shape new structures for a stronger social foundation over the next 16 years.

Uranus, Innovation, and Technology

Uranus, the planet of change, rebellion, invention, and electricity, brings focus to scientific breakthroughs and new ideas. Gemini Sun signs may feel especially activated by this influence, with discoveries and fresh concepts becoming more available. Communication systems, including AI, may continue to be refined or regulated. Education models may also evolve as children learn new technologies and explore concepts related to virtual reality, potentially shifting how we understand the physical world.

The Lunar Cycle for August
Week 1: Aries Momentum and Taurus Grounding

The first week begins with the Moon in Aries, creating a dynamic rush of energy as the month opens. By the Last Quarter Moon in Taurus, the pace may begin to settle, bringing a calmer and more grounded influence by Wednesday.

  • Chiron retrograde in Taurus: Chiron’s retrograde may be especially meaningful for people born in the late 1970s through the 1980s. Some may feel a renewed burst of energy or a subtle realignment of the body’s energy centers.
  • Sun trine Saturn: On Thursday, the Sun’s trine to Saturn can bring added confidence, especially for Aries and Leo natives.
  • Moon in Gemini: As the Moon moves into Gemini, the weekend highlights intellectual focus, communication, and networking.

The New Moon in Leo adds inspiration, fresh ideas, and renewed leadership, especially for Leo Sun signs. This influence may spark an awakening that clarifies a new direction, even if part of you simply wants to play. As Mars shifts into Cancer, themes of family, nation, protection, and care for vulnerable citizens come into focus.

  • Wednesday: Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Leo: Creative energy, leadership, and self-expression are emphasized, making this a strong time for new beginnings, especially for Leo Sun Signs,
  • Thursday: Moon enters Virgo: The mood shifts back to practical concerns, details, and responsibilities.
  • Saturday: Moon enters Libra: Harmony, balance, and relationship priorities come into focus, encouraging more thoughtful choices in personal and social connections.
Week 3: Libra Balance, Scorpio Intensity, and Capricorn Reflection

The third week, August 17–23, begins with the Moon in Libra forming a supportive sextile to Jupiter, a beneficial aspect for relationships and personal confidence.

  • Mars square Neptune: Mars in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries, which may feel confusing for some people and can make emotions harder to interpret clearly.
  • Moon in Scorpio: As the Moon shifts into intense Scorpio, its energy is strengthened by Mars in Cancer. Some people may feel especially intuitive during this period.
  • Second Quarter Moon in Scorpio: The Second Quarter Moon occurs on Wednesday in Scorpio, creating a time to make decisions connected to passion, focus, and emotional depth.
  • Seasonal reflection: By August 23, the end of summer is close, making it a good time to notice the season’s harvest and reflect on what has developed.
  • Moon in Capricorn: On Sunday, the Moon moves into serious Capricorn, bringing a day for deep thought and introspection as the Sun trines Chiron, the wounded healer, and the Moon in Capricorn  squares Saturn in Aries.
Week 4: Capricorn Focus, Aquarius Insight, and Pisces Compassion

The fourth week, August 24–31, begins with the Moon in Capricorn, helping us stay focused, organized, and committed to our responsibilities.

  • Tuesday: Moon enters Aquarius: The energy lightens as the Moon moves into Aquarius and joins transformative Pluto. This is a powerful time to shift old patterns, release unhealthy attachments, and gain a clearer perspective.
  • Mercury in Virgo: Mercury moves through its own sign of Virgo, supporting study, analysis, and practical understanding. This influence can also help us pay closer attention to health, healing, and the body’s needs.
  • Thursday: Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces: Feelings, compassion, and forgiveness come into focus during this Full Moon. Meditation may help reveal intuitive messages connected to health, well-being, and emotional clarity.
  • End of the month: Moon in Aries: The month closes with the Moon in courageous Aries, encouraging confidence, enthusiasm, and forward movement. As benevolent Jupiter in Leo trines Saturn in Aries, a new frontier begins to open.

A powerful month to end the summer season, change is in the air and an awakening for most of us. Keep looking at the Stars, for they are changing our destiny.
Peace and Blessings
