In the Stars for October
The summer is over and we had the Fall Equinox on Sept. 22^nd that’s when the transiting Sun entered Libra. This energy represents equal time between daylight and nightfall in the northern hemisphere. The fall season is a welcoming movement of cooler energy coming our way. We tend to focus on the themes that Libra represents such as balance, harmony, and equality. Mercury is moving in direct motion now in its own sign Virgo and will go into Libra on Oct. 6^th. The other two major planetary events are the Solar Eclipse New Moon on Oct. 14th. and Pluto goes direct.  This aspect will affect  Aries, Libra, and Capricorn natives those born towards the end of the sign at 21 degrees. Pluto is stationing direct on Oct. 10^th, in the ambitious earth sign Capricorn where it will now finish its work in Capricorn and its natal return position in the U.S.A. natal chart. Hopefully, the shifts and changes that our world governments need will be fixed and transformed when Pluto’s trek through Aquarius starts at the end of Jan. 2024, perhaps a new progressive era will emerge over the next 16 years. So expect a big shift in the energy this month.
The Libra Sun sign is the harmonizing air sign opposite Aries the fire sign which seeks to find harmony and balance. The symbol of Libra represents the setting Sun which means equal daylight and equal night on the Equinox. As we move forward, this air sign stirs up our consciousness and we tend to be more aware of social justice, fairness, and equality, particularly this month. The aspects this month will make most folks charged up for action as Mars is in transit to Pluto. We may notice more irritation, anger, and bullying which are negative manifestations of the need to flow with the changing energies that the Mars-Pluto square brings on the first week. This aspect could be stirring up power plays or control issues that emerge for those affected namely  Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn natives.

Libra Sun signs are known for their teamwork, graceful appearance, and social manners. Some are mild-mannered while others are strict and unyielding as the saying goes “the iron hand inside the soft glove “. This may be true for some while they are balancing their ideas and feelings. Libra must learn to balance between the self and the other. That’s the spirit of cooperation with all things especially when in any debate, which they like to start. They are forever seeking approval from loved ones and are great organizers and designers, if they practice the arts. They have brilliant strategic minds ready to win any opponent’s arguments. They are masters of subtle persuasion by planting seeds unbeknown to their target. However, in their minds, they are just playing fairly like a chess player would. They have high esthetics and are charming to their partner and they tend to be romantic and loyal to their loved ones. Happy Birthday, Libra. The Solar Eclipse brings the forces of awakening to you this month so you can start a new once again.

The Planetary Aspects for October
1st week is a busy week, The Moon in the practical earth sign Taurus starts the week off with a Moon squares to Venus in Leo, this will be challenging to communications and trade. Some may penny pitch more this week, especially with the rising cost of goods in the market. On Wed. the Moon in Gemini squares Neptune for the next two days communications are active and so is possible sleeplessness for busy minds. Mercury moves into Libra on Wed. the 4^thand faces off with old father Saturn in Pisces on Thursday.  This in conjunction can be tough on decisions and plans are thwarted. The Full Moon energy lessens as we have the Last quarter Moon in the water sign Cancer on Friday 6^th of October. A time to finish up projects and make decisions. Then Venus planet of love, moves out of romantic Leo and enters into the practical earth sign Virgo where it will display more critical attitudes around relationships that may prevail this month. The Moon in the water sign Cancer squares Mars in Libra on Saturday and affects our attitudes which may flux between security and fairness. Sunday has Mars in Libra squaring Pluto in Capricorn perhaps we will see more challenges with the power plays going on in the government.

2^nd week, another intense week, Pluto goes direct motion on Tuesday in Capricorn and we gear up for the Solar Eclipse on the New Moon in Libra at 21 degrees on Saturday the 14^th. For the most part, this energy brings an awakening to those whose Sun signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn a good time to wake up and get busy this month. This aspect may feel like waking up from a deep slumber for some who practice self-awareness.  The Sun in Libra will inconjunct Uranus in Taurus this may make for some upsetting realizations on Sunday.

3^rd week. Monday has a quiet yet intriguing energy with the transiting Moon in secretive Scorpio. Dig in deep as the saying goes and you can get lots done. On Tuesday the Moon trines elusive Neptune this can be good for creative work, arts, and music or moddiness. On Thursday,  Mercury in Libra inconjuncts elusive Neptune in Pisces, this aspect can slow us down for those with the Sun in the water signs Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. The Sun and Mercury join forces later that evening a restless energy full of ideas and goals as we process an exciting day full of ideas and ambition with the Moon moving through adventurous Sagittarius. On Friday we get back to reality while the transiting Moon in the ambition-driven earth sign Capricorn. The 2^nd Quarter Moon occurs at 28 degrees of Capricorn and joins with Pluto moving directly, there are lots of secrets that emerge this night as Mercury goes into the secretive intuitive water sign Scorpio. Sunday closes out the week with Mercury trine to Saturn in Pisces accept your karma but this aspect should help to calm and discipline the impressionable mind.

4^th week, the Sun enters the water sign Scorpio on Oct. 23rd,  the solar energy shifts and intensifies our feeling nature but in a quiet and yet persistent way as we set about to follow up on any plans that get support on Tuesday when the Sun trines serious karmic Saturn, accept your state of affairs and work diligently on any changes that are needed. Friday gets a boost of energy from the Moon moving through fiery sign Aries which helps to take charge of your initiatives. The Lunar Eclipse on Saturday, Oct. 28th, at 5 degrees of Taurus illuminates the night strong feelings and transformation of security issues are possible under this Full Moon, this is a good time for healing and finding resolutions to any problems. The month ends with the transiting Moon in witty air sign Gemini; this Halloween may inspire people to dress up be witty and have fun.
